Is each ticket good for one day?
NO, Each weekend AirShow ticket is good for one admission only on either Saturday or Sunday.

Is there Motor Home Parking?
Separate arrangements will need to be made in advance for RV Parking. There is "Water's Edge RV Resort" located on the airport property. They have full hookups and facilities. Their address is: 6800 Golf Course Blvd., Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Phone 941-637-4677..

Are Bicycles allowed?
Yes, parking is provided for bicycles at one, (1) Ticket Gate; (South Ticket Gate)  See the Weekend AirShow Location Map - PDF. However, no bicycles are permitted into the operational Airport area. See the complete (Entry Restrictions) Section.

Handicap
Handicap Parking is available at the Air Show by Permit only. In addition, volunteers are available in the parking lots to assist those individuals with special needs. Flight Deck and special seating areas are handicap accessible.

Can I leave and re-enter the Air Show?
Yes, if you leave the area your hand will be stamped for re-admission.

What are the conditions for Media?
Media credentials will only be extended to media on assignment. Press/Media Credentials requests must be submitted in advance of Air Show dates on a Media Credentials Form and verification of assignment obtained before credentials will be issued. The Media Credentials Request form is available on the website (can be downloaded). Forms and credentials will also be available on Media Day at the airport. (Date To Be Announced) These requests should be faxed to Skip Hapner, Media Coordinator, 941-637-6126. No children will be admitted to the media area. (Download Media App Form)

What would be the airport approach information?

The Charlotte County Airport (PGD) will be closed for the Air Show the following date and times,
All times local:

  • Thursday, April 3rd (TO BE ANNOUNCED)
  • Friday, April 4th (TO BE ANNOUNCED)
  • Saturday, April 5th (TO BE ANNOUNCED)
  • Sunday, April 6th (TO BE ANNOUNCED)

     This will include airspace for a five (5) mile nautical mile radius and up to 15,000 feet AGL.

Are chalet tickets also good for admission to the show?
Yes. Chalet tickets include general admission to the show as well as the chalet area.

Do you have Special Seating?
Yes we do have ticket upgrades: a special Flight Deck Tent Upgrade ticket is available for $40./adult and $20./child. (For more information, Click Here)  All Upgrades require that you first purchase an AirShow Gate Entry ticket. There is also available for purchase at the AirShow special Reserved Seating.

Will there be food and gift vendors at the Air Show?
Yes, there will be concession booths where food and gifts can be purchased. Many of the concessions will be run by local charities and will greatly appreciate your support.

Is there shade?
General Admission special seating ticket holders will be under an open sky. Please plan ahead and bring plenty of sunscreen. Flight Deck Tent and Chalet ticket holders will have the option of sitting in the shade.

What happens if there is inclement weather?
The AirShow HAPPENS rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed onto the AirShow spectator area or left in cars inside the Air Show parking lots. The Southwest Florida heat expected during the air show as well as the heat generated from the cement tarmac is unsuitable for pets. An exception is made for guide dogs. Are cameras allowed?
Yes, cameras are allowed (still, video, and digital). Your camera bags will likely be checked upon entry.  See the complete (Entry Restrictions) Section
